HOLE IN ONE!

Our Vice Captain Rosie Field scored a hole in one on the 6th Hole on 22 May 2004. The pin was not in sight when she teed off so although she and her playing partners thought she'd had a good strike it was only when they came to the green that they realised she'd had a hole in one. We think this may be a first for our ladies as we've not found a record of another in the books (apologies to any other VRLGC members we may have overlooked!) We celebrated in true style the next week when Rosie brought some bubbly to toast the winning occasion.
